- Large format printing
-
Layouts are accepted in TIFF, PDF, EPS, JPG, CDR formats.
-
In EPS and PDF formats, fonts must be converted to curves.
-
If the layout is provided in JPG format, note that image quality is directly proportional to file compression quality.
-
Layouts must be in CMYK color space without any color profiles.
-
Layouts must be prepared at 1:1 scale (without bleeds).
-
Layouts are cut to the edge; therefore, it is better to create a safe zone from important elements to the edge of at least 5 mm.
-
For grommet installation, the safe zone should be at least 25 mm from the edge of the layout.
-
Layers in layouts must be merged and text converted to curves.
-
Black color (solids and large text) is better made as composite CMYK (35-35-35-100).
-
Gradients and solid fills in total ink should be at least 30% according to TIL (otherwise the solid or gradient may be barely visible).
-
Solid black color cannot be represented in CMY without black (otherwise it may shift to another triad color).
-
Small text (12pt) can be left in one color for clearer printing.
-
Two-sided banners are provided as two separate files (front-back).
-
Marks for individual grommet placement must be made in contrasting color, circles with 10 mm diameter with outline, the center of the circle should be positioned no closer than 20 mm from the edge of the layout.
-
If a hem is needed, there is no need to draw or mark it in the layout; if it is without printing, we will add it ourselves.
